Kingdom Hearts Heads Back to the DS

The game series that launched a few hundred thousand cosplay costumes is back.  Kingdom Hearts is returning to the DS in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded and will again, feature the big cheese, Mickey Mouse himself.

The game takes place after the events of Kingdom Hearts 2 (released on the PS2) and involves King Mickey and friends digitising Jiminy Cricket’s journal and delving into its mysteries in order to discover the whys and wherefores of a strange message.

No release date has yet been confirmed, however the news is sure to stir excitement for those who throw themselves passionately into Kingdom Heart’s colourful world.  Don’t dust off those giant keys and oversized shoes just yet though, as, according to C&VG and others, no UK release date has currently been confirmed.
