Borderlands Origins Comics To Be Released

Comics have often been the ideal way to plug gaps in game narratives and fill in questions about characters and their origins and now it seems that Borderlands is the latest game to be going down this route.  According to Newsarama, there are four Borderlands comics on the way in a Borderlands: Origins series.

“For the millions and millions of fans of the smash-hit video game BORDERLANDS, a lingering question exists: how did the Vault Hunters get on the bus with Marcus in the first place? Find out how Roland got on the bus with Mordecai, Lilith, and Brick in this exciting look at the soldiers of the Crimson Lance and what made him leave their ranks and search for the Vault. Surprises abound in the first part of a four-issue series chronicling where Borderlands began!”

The comics will be 32 pages long and retail at approximately $3.99.  Whether or not they will be the same as the downloads offered in the upcoming special and collector’s editions of Borderlands 2, we don’t yet know, but it is more than likely.  For fans of the physical, however, these upcoming comics will be the perfect way to discover the hows and whys of their fave vault hunters.
